Getting To Danforth Music Hall

To get into the venue you’ll need to walk down Danforth Avenue. It’s often called “The Danforth” by locals, and you should know that it’s a bustling street in the city – well known for its exciting atmosphere and host of shops, restaurants and cafes. You can enter the venue by walking down Danforth, as it is located at 147 Danforth Avenue, just east of Broadview Avenue.

You have a few options when it comes to getting to the theatre including public transit, by car, or by foot. Here are some tips for getting to the venue:

Public transport

The venue is only a short walk from the Broadview subway station on Line 2 (the Bloor-Danforth line). All you need to do is exit the station and head east along Danforth Avenue. You will also find multiple bus routes in the area that will take you to Danforth.

Driving

Keep in mind that Toronto can be extremely busy during evenings when you might want to travel to the venue. There are many parking options nearby, including street parking and paid parking lots. Make sure that you arrive early to secure a parking spot.

Walking

Danforth Avenue is pedestrian friendly and you will find the venue entrance along the sidewalk.

You can always recognize the Danforth Music Hall entrance by its distinctive opening. It looks a little like a 1920s music theatre. You should keep in mind that the doors to an event typically open an hour before the show starts. You should always be prepared for a security check at the entrance, which might include a bag check or metal detectors to ensure the safety of all guests.

Arrive Early

Guests typically line up outside of the venue, and lines can be lengthy, so arriving early is recommended. If you have bought standing tickets for a show and want to get close to the front barrier, then we recommend getting to the show early.

You should aim to have your tickets ready before you enter, whether you have printed copies or digital copies on your mobile device. Tickets are scanned at the entrance. Once you enter the lobby, you’ll find a spacious area with merchandise stands, restrooms, and other amenities.
